Thank you so much for the care packages. I will be distributing
the bags full of goodies to Sailors next week. It is always so
nice to have something special to give to each and every person
so that no one gets left out. Through your kindness and the
kindness of all of your group, we are able to assure each and
every sailor knows they are supported and cared for.
We are a reserve group mainly out of North and South Carolina
but we have personnel augmenting our detachment from New York,
Arizona, California and all parts in between. It is an
interesting group. We were sent here to do an Army mission and
throughout the time here on station we have learned a great deal
about how the services work together and believe it or not it
all works rather well (except for during the Army Navy
game...this weekend).
Again, we appriciate the time and effort you all have taken to
make our days here more tolerable. We hope your holiday season
is filled with joy and peace.
